SOS QR turns emergency contact and medical details into a QR code that responders can scan after an accident. This page explains exactly what the app stores and who can see it.
What we collect
Only what you type into the form: the person's name, up to three contact names and mobile numbers, an ambulance number, home address, WhatsApp numbers, blood group and the medical notes you choose to enter, together with the Customer ID you provide.
Why we collect it
These details are printed onto the emergency QR code and the public emergency page that the QR opens, so that anyone helping in an accident can call your family and know your blood group and medical history.
Who can see it
The emergency page is reachable by anyone who scans your QR code or has its unlisted link - that is the whole purpose of an emergency ID. Do not enter anything you would not want a stranger who finds you to read.
Location
Location is never collected or stored by us. The 'Share my live location' button runs entirely in the scanner's own browser: it asks their permission, builds a Google Maps link and hands it to WhatsApp. We never see it.
Tracking and adverts
No advertising, no analytics trackers and no third-party marketing cookies. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
Deletion
Ask us to delete a profile or a whole submission and it is removed from the database, after which the QR codes pointing at it stop working.
